I am about to go out into the cold and move the cars to the street so that more wood can be delivered. And then except for going in and out for 1 log at a time very carefully, I ain't doing shit today but spending the last day I've got with my mom, fussing wallhangings and getting her food (every old person's very favorite parts of the day). 

I will let her say something nice to me without deflecting it for a change, to "flavor my day". Bold is her new fave butterknife word for me. I'll take it as a good thing today. And maybe even wear the stupid boyshorts 🙄. And not choke her out when she says stuff like "you wouldn't be long on the vine if you went to a mixer!" like I'ma gonna join the USO. And we will look at David Harbour allll day, he's grown on her 💘 like a supersized helping of pollack 😂
