I put in a solid offer over asking, in cash, not making the same mistakes I did in Minerva. And/yet I got dicked around -  backed into a corner of a bidding war = very clear very quickly what I really could do (who rely on) and not (who not).  Unsurprising, on all counts. But it's useful to flush all the truths out from time to time, like bleeding air from your radiators. Eh?

I'll know Wednesday if I won the war, and meanwhile I figured out how to manage the battles again by my own.
